New Delhi: Chris Gayle loves to be in the news as much for his cricket feats as much as his activities off the field. The Jamaican loves to party and enjoy every moment of his life.
Hence, it did not come as a surprise when he was seen shaking a leg on the dance floor on Michael Jackson’s groovy number ‘Thriller’, even when his side Royal Challengers Bangalore lost the IPL to Sunrisers Hyderabad on their home ground Sunday evening.
After the tragic defeat in the final, none of Gayle’s teammates, especially Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, seemed to be in the mood to party but that didn’t deter the ‘Universe Boss’.
Though young Sarfaraz Khan was present with Gayle he only enjoyed his performance and did not dance himself.
Earlier, during the Big Bash League he had sparked a controversy he made "inappropriate" remarks to a female television presenter McLaughlin live on air after a match.
In January, Gayle was fined $10,000 by his club Melbourne Renegades for his sexist remarks.
The Jamaican hard-hitter failed to shine with bat in the recently concluded Indian Premier League and finished with 227 runs from 10 matches including two fifties. He, however, played a fiery inning of 79 runs off just 38 balls in the final clash.
