Good food, fun chats: Virat Kohli in awe of MS Dhoni's dinner party for Team India

The Indian cricket team is all set to face Australia in the third ODI on March 8 at MS Dhoni's hometown Ranchi. Ahead of the match, local boy Dhoni invited the whole Indian squad a dinner at his house.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli was amused with the gesture and posted the photo on Instagram with Dhoni, Rishabh Pant and spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal. Coach Ravi Shastri too could be seen in the background.

"Great night with the boys at mahi bhais place last night. Good food, fun chats all around and great energy. Perfect team evening. @mahi7781 @kuldeep_18 @rishabpant @yuzi_chahal23" read the post on Kohli's  Instagram account.

Apart from Kohli, Chahal also posted a picture with the whole team and captioned it: "Thank you for last night @msdhoni bhai and @SaakshiSRawat bhabhi."

While Pant, who is known for his jolly nature, shared a post while taking a dig at Dhoni's wife Sakshi ruining his fitness regime.

He posted, "Bhabhiji ruining our fitness levels ?? ?? ?? Super fun evening with the fam-jam ! Thank you @mahi7781 and @sakshisingh_r for hosting us ?? #goodtimes @virat.kohli @kuldeep_18 @yuzi_chahal23."

Dhoni has played three matches at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi and has got only a couple of opportunities to bat as one of the games got washed out. In the two innings, Dhoni scored 10* vs England on October 23, 2013, and 11 against New Zealand on October 26, 2016.

The third ODI against Australia could well be Dhoni's last outing at his home ground and the local boy would be looking to make full use of this opportunity. Fans are also excited to see their hero play at the home turf.

India are already 2-0 up in the series and will look to take an unassailable lead in Ranchi on Friday.
