2019 ICC World Cup: Concern for India as Virat Kohli hurts right thumb during practice session; SEE PICS

Pictures emerged where Kohli was seen dipping his right thumb in a glass of ice and was also seen consulting Team India physio Patrick Farhart.

In just days before India's opening match against South Africa in the 2019 World Cup in Southampton, pictures have emerged of Indian skipper Virat Kohli where he has likely hurt his right thumb during a practice session on Saturday. It doesn't seem to be a major concern for the Indian captain, but the last thing that Team India need is their best man unavailable before their opening clash on June 5.

However, the Indian skipper resumed his training and was seen batting and fielding during the session.

The Indian cricket team also celebrated Dinesh Karthik's birthday who turns 34 today (June 1). 

Earlier, the Men in Blue headed out into the woods for a game of paintball in Southampton. Kohli along with his fellow teammates took to their respective social media handles to upload pictures of their day out. Take a look. 

On Friday, Team India were handed a major boost as their all-rounder Kedar Jadhav was seen back in the nets, batting and bowling. Kedar Jadav took to his Instagram handle to upload videos of him during training.
