Under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, India will look to double their lead when they take on a struggling West Indies in the second ODI at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam, on Wednesday.

As the team landed Vizag, skipper Kohli couldn't resist himself taking a selfie with the 'City Of Destiny' in the background.

"What a stunning place. Love coming to Vizag," Kohli captioned the picture on Instagram.

On Sunday, India defeated West Indies by eight wickets in Guwahati to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match ODI series.

Along with the pride of the lead, India got their strength back in lanky speedster Ishant Sharma. In a video shared by the Indian cricket team, Ishant can be seen bowling in the nets.

"Hello @ishant.sharma29. Glad to have you back. He is here for assessment and his recovery is on track. #TeamIndia," Indian cricket team wrote on Instagram.

An ankle injury forced him out of the fifth and final Test in England last month. The 30-year-old bowled for about half an hour at the nets organised for the Indian team on the eve of the second One-day International against West Indies.

Before bowling at his India teammates, Ishant warmed up at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA stadium.

Ishant's return will lend strength to the pace attack as the Indian team braces up to tour Australia for a four-Test series starting later this year.

He has travelled with the Indian team Down Under a few times and is also remembered for the torrid time he gave to Ricky Ponting in Perth.

Recently, the Delhi fast bowler tweeted a picture of himself sweating it out in the gym.

The speedster hobbled off the ground after bowling only one over in the fourth morning of the fifth Test at the Kennington Oval in September.

Ishant was India's standout bowler in the series in England and finished with 18 wickets at an average of 24.27.

Earlier, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that it has shortlisted the same 12-member squad, as in the first match, for their second ODI.

In the last match, the Kohli-led side had played three pacers and two spinners, leaving left-arm bowler Kuldeep Yadav out of the playing eleven. Rishabh Pant, on the other hand, had made his ODI debut in the opener of the five-match series but he did not get the chance to play.

Kohli and vice-captain Rohit Sharma had stitched a huge 246-run stand to guide their side to a comfortable eight-wicket win over West Indies in the first ODI. In the process, Kohli had reached his 36th ODI century in 204 innings.

The home team had thumped the West Indies comprehensively in the Test series, registering a 2-0 win over the visitors.
