Virat Kohli has returned from a neck injury to lead the side

Team India is getting ready for the hugely-anticipated tour of England and Ireland. On Tuesday, they looked in top gear as they practised diligently during an intense nets session before the two-match T20I series begins against Ireland on Wednesday.

In a video shared by the BCCI's Twitter handle, Indian stars Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina are seen practising their favourite shots in the nets under the scrutinizing eyes of head coach Ravi Shastri. (Also Read: Rest has benefitted Virat Kohli ahead of England Tour: Ravi Shastri to IndiaTV)

While Dhoni is seen playing his powerful hooks and drives, the Indian skipper Kohli remained quite focused and played each delivery on its merit. On the other hand, Suresh Raina, who replaced Ambati Rayudu in the ODI squad for the England leg of the tour, played a number of his inside-out drives on the up which are always a delight to watch. (Also Read: India vs England will be 100 per cent entertainment, guarantees coach Ravi Shastri)

It was obvious from the nature of the shots being practised by the Indians that they are gearing hard for the T20Is as a number of aerial shots were being played. The Men in Blue didn't waste much time after landing in Dublin and opted to hone their skills by going for an intense practice session.

India are scheduled to play two T20Is against Ireland starting on 27th June followed by a T20I and ODI series of 3 matches each against England as a precursor to the 5 Tests that start in August.
