Its been years and months and now finally the millions of fans have seen their favourite couple 'Virushka' tie the knot on December 12 in Tuscany in Italy. It was a private ceremony but as imagined, a dream wedding for sure. The Indian skipper and the Bollywood actress had made their vows way before when they were seen on screen in an advertisement for a clothing brand Manyavar and Mohey. Kohli and Anushka's spokesperson had made many announcements of their future plans. From next year onwards from the star in January, the Indian skipper will be back in action when India take on South Africa in three Tests, six ODIs and three T20Is. Whereas the Bollywood actress will be working on a film with Shah Rukh Khan.
As media reports suggest, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli got married at a private ceremony in Italy, today. The wedding was attended by close family and a few friends as they wished their wedding to be a very private affair.
The duo will be hosting a reception in New Delhi for their relatives on 21st December which will be followed by a reception for industry friends and cricketers in Mumbai on 26th December
"The newly wed couple will travel to South Africa where Virat will start prepping for upcoming series & Anushka will spend New Year’s Eve with him & return in the first week of January to begin next schedule of a film with Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai", said the spokesperson of Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma.
"Anushka will also start prepping for Sui Dhaaga as the shooting for the same starts in February 2018 with Varun Dhawan. Anushka will also be busy with the marketing and promotions of Pari which is releasing on 9th February".
"They will be shifting to their new residence in Worli in December. We're extremely grateful to media for their support & understanding in making this special occasion a memorable one and thank them for their continued love and support", said the spokesperson of Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma.
