Indian star batsman Smriti Mandhana is enjoying the form of her life. The left-handed opening batsman smashed her maiden century of the Women Super League T20. After a series of good scores, Mandhana struck an astonishing century in just 60 balls. Lancashire Thunder batted first and put up a respectable total of 153/7 on the scoreboard. While chasing the target Mandhana took the whole responsibility on her shoulders and took her team Western Storm home with 10 balls to spare.
It was a pretty comprehensive win for Storm and they will surely be pleased with the string of good performances by Mandhana. With the astonishing innings, the left-handed opener became the first player to score a century in this season of the tournament. Mandhana started her innings in a steady way after hitting her half-century in 34 balls. She started smashing Thunder bowler all around the ground.
After her blistering knock, Indian fans on Twitter went crazy and demanded her to open the innings for the Indian men team in the ongoing Test series against England after the failure of openers Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan in the first Test at Edgbaston.
