The rivalry between India and Pakistan is one of the oldest and the most debated topics in the cricket world. Both the neighbouring nations had a long history on the 22-yard strip and are known to boast rich cricketing heritage. However, it is not a hidden secret that India and Pakistan cricketers share a great rapport and camaraderie among them off the field.
In the latest off the field banter, Indian cricket's old warhorse Yuvraj Singh has once again shown his witty side as he trolled former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar for his tweet on his official handle. Akhtar who is fairly active on social media shared a motivational post for the young generation which read, “Only hard work can lead you to your dreams,” along with the picture with a quote reading, “Don’t be afraid to be ambitious about your goals. Hard work never stops. Neither should your dreams.”
Yuvraj, who is known for his sense of humour and is one of the funniest cricketers in the Indian dressing room saw the lighter side of the message and took a dig at Akhtar for his picture in which he was seen with a welding gun and a helmet.
The dynamic left-hander wrote, “Oh ta theek hai payan tusi welding karan kithe chale ho (That’s all right but where are you going for welding).”
Lately, Yuvraj is not having best of the time as he's been axed from the Indian team for repeatedly failing to clear the Yo-Yo test, which has become mandatory for selection in the national team.
