New Delhi: Pakistan’s new T20 skipper Sarfraz Ahmed’s wife Syeda Khushbakht has showered praise on Indian ODI and T20 captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni.
Syeda said that she and her husband Sarfraz admire Dhoni and Sakshi a lot and even declared Dhoni a living legend.
“Dhoni is a living legend. He has got every big trophy which he fought for and my husband, Sarfraz, has adopted many good things from him,” she said.
She also said that Sakshi has been a ‘lucky charm’ for Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
"Dhoni's wife, Sakshi, is a known face and I admire her a lot. She has been a lucky charm for MSD. I don't know what would I tell her when an opportunity comes to meet her in the box (during a match in the future). I may become speechless to see her at that time," she further added.
Like Sakshi, Syeda Khushbakht wishes to be the lady luck for Pakistan’s new T20 captain Sarfraz Ahmad.
As expected, Syeda’s comments have not gone down well with cricket lovers in Pakistan. Sarfraz Ahmad had also praised Dhoni during the ICC World T20 Championship in India.
Recently, a Pakistani fan of Virat Kohli was arrested and charged with sedition for hoisting the Indian tricolour on his roof after a match-winning knock by the Indian batsman.
