On Sunday, the 45-year-old legend wished Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma with a witty tweet on his 30th birthday. ".@ImIshant! पेड़ से नारियल निकालते निकालते, लंबू बन गया! Only fitting that your birthday is celebrated on #WorldCoconutDay. Have a great one," Tendulkar said on Twitter.
The Delhi-born right-arm fast bowler has been a part of the Indian team since Tendulkar's playing days. With the witty tweet, Tendulkar introduced his fans to a quite entertaining side of himself.
Earlier, he also tweeted for his former Mumbai Indians teammate Lasith Malinga in a similar way on his birthday. He had tweeted,"When it came to batting against #LasithMalinga, I always said ... baal ko nahin, ball ko dekho (don't look at the hair, look at the ball). Happy birthday, my friend."
On the other hand birthday boy, Ishant is having a fabulous campaign in the ongoing Test series against England. Ishant is leading the pact of Indian fast bowlers excellently and showing his experience in crucial stages of the matches.
The 30-year old fast bowler has recently achieved the feat of picking up 250 Test wickets in the ongoing match at Southampton. He picked up the most important wicket of England's captain Joe Root to achieve the feat.
