India's master blaster Sachin Tendulkar on Friday took to Twitter to wish his ex-teammate and friend Vinod Kambli on his 46th birthday but the matter went sour when the fans started trolling the pair for its nostalgic pictures. The duo shared a tumultuous friendship in their career on and off the field, but Twitter had a different opinion on their bond.

Tendulkar had uploaded two nostalgic photographs with Kambli on his birthday with the caption, "Tum jiyo hazaaron saal, aur saal ke din ho hazaar. (May you live a thousand years and may ever year have a thousand days.) Wishing you a very happy birthday, @vinodkambli349."

The former cricketer had an equally heart-warming reply for the Indian legend, which goes as, "Dear Master Blaster. Thank you Mere Bhai mere Pyare Dost. I Love You Hamesha (Thank you, my brother, my dear friend. Love you always)."

The two former cricketers' bond is as strong as ever. While some fans felt that Tendulkar's message was an emotional one, some fans took to troll the pair on Kambli's birthday. Take a look.

Kambli had celebrated his birthday along with children at the Mumbai Cricket Association with the caption, "Celebrated my Birthday at MCA RC Shirke infrastructure Academy yesterday with our coaches and our Students. Very touched by the kind gesture. Thank you all."
