India's god of cricket Sachin Tendulkar on Friday expressed his elation after he got a surprise visit from West Indies batting legend and "good friend" Brian Lara.
Calling it a "great way to welcome the weekend", Tendulkar shared a picture and a video with the Windies' superstar on Instagram.
"Great way to welcome the weekend ... surprise visit from a good friend. Chillin’ with @BrianLara #FridayFun," Sachin captioned the image.
Both Tendulkar and Lara have given cricket fans a plenty of cherishable memories.
Tendulkar, who retired from international cricket in November 2013, leads the chart of highest run-scorers with 34357 from 664 international matches.
Lara, who last played for West Indies in April 2007, is placed seventh in the list with 22358 runs from 430 matches.
