A six-year-old girl wrote a letter to batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar, expressing her delight after watching the movie "Sachin: A Billion Dreams". The biopic on Tendulkar, in which the legend himself played the lead role, was released on May 26. The little girl, after watching the movie, sent a hand written note to Tendulkar, describing her experience.
"Dear Sachin uncle, my name is Taara (like Sara didi) but I am six years old. I recently saw your movie and I loved it. I laughed when I saw what a naughty child you were. I cried when I saw your last match," the girl said.
The child then asked Tendulkar if she could come and meet him and his family.
"Sachin uncle, I want to come and meet you, Sara didi, Arjun bhaia and Anjali aunty. May I please?," she said.
Tendulkar, who shared the note on Twitter, thanked the girl for writing to him.
"Hi, Taara! Thank you so much for writing to me.. I'm really glad that you enjoyed the movie. Keep smiling," Tendulkar tweeted.
"Sachin: A Billion Dreams" was directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka with Oscar winner AR Rahman composing the music. The film fared well on the Box Office and did a business of Rs. 72.42 crores.
