The friendship between Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli goes a long way back. The two used to play with each other during their school days, and represented India together.
Years after both the cricketers hung up their shoes, they came together to relive their childhood days at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
It was a vintage Sachin Tendulkar on display as he bowled to Kambli. Tendulkar also batted after his brief spell with the ball, showing a vast range of shots – including the vintage cover drive and the push towards long-on.
Sachin Tendulkar posted the video on Twitter, and wrote, “Felt great to be back in the nets with @vinodkambli349 during the @tendulkarmga lunch break! It sure took us back to our childhood days at Shivaji Park...”
He also revealed a fascinating piece of information on him and Vinod Kambli.
“Very few people know that Vinod & I have always been in the same team and never played against each other. #TMGA,” Tendulkar wrote.

Sachin Tendulkar is also the mentor for Mumbai Indians, who will take on Chennai Super Kings in the final of the Indian Premier League on Sunday.
