Cricket veteran and batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has been a busy man. Ahead of the release of his upcoming biopic "Sachin: A Billion Dreams", the legend is busy receiving wishes and responding to them with his usual grace.

Cricket veteran and batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has been a busy man. Ahead of the release of his upcoming biopic "Sachin: A Billion Dreams", the legend is busy receiving wishes and responding to them with his usual grace.

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar too extended her best wishes to the Mumbai batsman on Thursday.

The noted singer Tweeted, “@sachin_rt Namaskar.Aap ki jo film aarahi hai,ismein bhi aap cricket maidan ki tarha chouke aur chakke maarkar dhoom macha denge yehi kamna.”

Sachin, who is also known for his humility and modesty, immediately replied, “Maa ke aashirwad bina chouke chakke kabhi nahi lagte. Aap mere liye Maa samaan ho. Thank you so much for your blessings.”

The legendary batsman had earlier said that the upcoming film was not just about cricket.

“This movie is not just about my cricket career. It has many different chapters and we have tried to show those chapters as well. James has shown many sides of my personality in the movie, which many people are not aware of,” said the iconic cricketer.

Among the other notable personalities to have wished Tendulkar include Rajinikanth, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Shah Rukh Khan and Shreya Ghosal.

The movie hits theatres on May 26, 2017.
