After tying the knot with his manager Ritika Sajdeh following a sweet love story in 2015, India opener Rohit Sharma has continued to set husband goals as he recently credited his 17th ODI century, which he scored against South Africa in Port Elizabeth, to wife on the eve of the Valentine's Day.
"Happy Valentine’s Day Rits @ritssajdeh," Rohit said in an Instagram post, posing with the man-of-the-series award he was given for his 115-run knock at the St. George's Park on Tuesday.
Earlier, Ritika posted an internet avatar of herself performing dab after Rohit scored his 17th ODI ton. With the hundred, Rohit became the fourth highest century scorer in ODIs for India, after Sachin Tendulkar (49), Virat Kohli (34) and Sourav Ganguly (22).
Opener Rohit led the visitors before chinaman Kuldeep Yadav returned figures of 4/51 to bowl the Proteas out for 201, in their chase of 274. India clinched their maiden ODI series win on South African soil, taking an unbeatable 4-1 lead after outclassing the hosts by 73 runs, with a match to do.
This was Rohit's third special gift for his wife as earlier he credited a double-ton and century to her better-half on her wedding anniversary and birthday respectively.
