Rajkot: Indian all-rounder and Gujarat Lions’ key player Ravindra Jadeja is all set to tie the nuptial knot with Gujarat-based mechanical engineer Riva Solanki on April 17.
Riva’s father, Hardevsingh Solanki, is a local contractor and her mother Prafullaba Solanki is an employee with the Indian Railways. The couple got engaged in February this year at Jadeja’s restaurant in Rajkot. The wedding ceremony on Sunday will be hosted near Kalavad Road in Gujarat.
With Jadeja and his fiancée set to embark upon a new journey, cricketing stars including former teammates at the now-suspended Chennai Super Kings Dwayne Bravo and Suresh Raina are all revved up to make the day even more special for the couple with their presence.
Bravo, who considers Jadeja as his close friend, is expected to perform his famous ‘Champion’ dance at the function.
His teammate in the Indian dressing room Suresh Raina also expressed his excitement about Jadeja’s wedding through a tweet.
Jadeja will also host a grand party today for his teammates and other close friends at a hotel on Kalavad Road.
As a pre-wedding gift, Ravindra Jadeja has already got an Audi Q7 (worth Rs 95 lakh) from his would-be father-in-law.
