Like father, like son, former India cricketer Rahul Dravid's son Samit scored a composed century to guide his team to victory in the Karnataka State Cricket Association's (KSCA) BTR Cup Under-14 tournament on Wednesday.

Playing for Mallya Aditi International School, Samit slammed an impressive knock of 150 runs to help his side beat Vivekananda School by a huge margin of 412 runs.

Besides Samit, son of another former India cricketer Sunil Joshi excelled with his 154-run knock as the Mallya Aditi International School reached a gigantic total of 500/5 in 50 overs.

Chasing the huge target, Vivekananda School team failed miserably and were wrapped up for paltry 88 runs.

Following his father's footsteps, Samit has been in news for past two years. He has been a consistent U-14 batsman for Bangalore United Cricket Club (BUCC), a club which his father also played in his initial days.

For years, Dravid remained a stalwart of Team India and Karnataka domestic cricket. Turning 45 on Thursday, Dravid scored 13288 runs in Tests and 10889 runs in ODIs for India. He is currently serving as coach to the Under-19 team, which is presently participating in the U-19 World Cup in New Zealand
