Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Indian cricketer Ravindrasinh Jadeja and his wife Rivaba Tuesday.
Modi tweeted a photo of the couple with himself soon after the meeting.
"Had a wonderful interaction with noted cricket player Ravindrasinh Jadeja and his wife Rivaba," the PM tweeted.
The Indian cricketer is not a part of India's T20Is squad that will face Australia starting November 21, but will return in December when Australia host India in a four-match Test series which commences from December 6.
Jadeja was recently called back into the ODI squad after an impressive performance in the Test series. He slammed his maiden Test century which saw him claim a spot in the five-match ODI series against West Indies, which India won 3-1.
The all-rounder was also a part of the India squad which won a record 7th Asia Cup trophy.
