Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Amir and Shoaib Malik claimed two wickets each as Pakistan bowled out West Indies for paltry 60 runs to clinch the first T20I by 130 runs in Karachi on Sunday. By the virtue of this win, Pakistan took a 1-0 lead against West Indies in the three-match series.
Earlier, Pakistan reached a solid 203/5 with debutant Hussain Talat scoring a 41-run knock off 37 balls. He smashed two boundaries and a six. Opener Fakhar Zaman made a 24-ball 39, while skipper Sarfraz Ahmed chipped in with 38 runs off 22 balls after the visitors sent them into bat.
Shoaib Malik scored an unbeaten knock of 37 runs from 14 balls as Pakistan equalled their highest T20I total -- achieved against Bangladesh, also in Karachi, in 2008.
