Former India captain and wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni went on to extra mile to click a selfie with his fans, performing a dangerous stunt during a promotional event in Bengaluru. The stunt could have gone wrong and Dhoni would have suffered injuries ahead of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), starting April 7.

"This is how you take Selfie with fans @msdhoni @TheSevenLife_ @ChennaiIPL," a fan wrote along with a video, in which Dhoni was seen walking on the edge of a window that was placed 15-feet above the ground.

The 36-year-old, who led CSK to the IPL title twice in 2010 and 2011, will be seen in action in the fresh season of the cash-rich league. CSK will start their campaign facing defending champions Mumbai Indians in the opening match at Wankhede Stadium on April 7.

Under the captaincy of Dhoni, CSK have kept their core intact ahead of the fresh season with Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja in the centre of the power and former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming as head coach.

Having retained Dhoni, Raina and Jadeja well ahead of the IPL Auction, held in January, CSK tried to weave their squad around seasoned campaigners. Probably the most successful franchise in the IPL history with two titles and four runners-up tags, CSK have as many as 11 players aged 30-plus out of 25 in the squad for IPL 2018.
