Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be aiming for two crucial points and boost their chances of making it to the playoffs when they take on Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. Sunrisers are placed at the fourth spot with 12 points, just below Mumbai who have 14 points from 12 games. In their last match against Kings XI Punjab, SRH had secured a comfortable 45-run win at home riding on the heroics of David Warner. On the other hand, Mumbai lost their last encounter against Kolkata Knight Riders by 34 runs, and thus would be desperate for a win to confirm their berth in the playoffs. (MATCH SCORECARD)

Mumbai beat Hyderabad in Super Over

A match should have been won by Mumbai, has been won by Mumbai but after taking the long route. They should have finished it off while defending but Manish Pandey's brilliance took it to the Super Over. There, Bumrah strut his stuff, giving away just 8 runs and picking up the 2 wickets while it was a cakewalk for Hardik and Pollard with the bat.

Ball 3: R Khan to K Pollard, 2 runs. MUMBAI WIN! Easily done. A fraction quicker but shorter as well, Pollard easily works it through mid-wicket and jogs through for a couple. Pumps his fists while looking at Hardik.

Bumrah is pleading and the umpire eventually raises the finger. Guptill after the chat goes for the review. Replays roll in and they show that the on-field call is the right one. A length ball around off, Saha looks to drive it square on the off side, hits it nicely but does not keep it down. It goes towards Lewis who take a good catch. This is slightly short and closer to the off pole, there is not a lot of width on offer. Pandya still manages to crack it past mid off and ends the over with a boundary. 16 from this one.

21.10 IST: Basil Thampi to Quinton de Kock, FOUR! Does not middle it but still gets a boundary! This is short and on the body, de Kock is hurried into the pull shot. He mistimes it but gets it over mid-wicket and away from long on for a boundary.

21.08 IST: Basil Thampi to Hardik Pandya, SIX! WOW! That shot just shows what kind of a form this guy is in. It is not a very bad delivery, on the middle pole. Pandya whips it with ease and clears the mid-wicket fence. What a way to get off the mark.

Vijay Shankar returns a wild throw from deep mid-wicket and Saha does well to collect and then back-flip it at the stumps at the striker's end. Hits them but QdK is well in. Just 2 runs and a wicket from the over, Nabi ends his spell with figures of 4-0-24-1.

21.00 IST: Mohammad Nabi to Evin Lewis, OUT! TAKEN! The pressure of the dots has brought about Lewis' downfall. Two wickets in quick succession for Hyderabad and they are on top here.

20.56 IST: Khaleel Ahmed to Suryakumar Yadav, OUT! STRAIGHT TO THE MAN! SKY can't believe it as he stands his ground but then has to trudge back! He can consider himself a little unlucky here. He has hit that so nicely. Full and outside off, Yadav lofts it right off the middle. He though hits it flat and the man at sweeper cover does not have to move an inch before taking it.

20.54 IST: Khaleel Ahmed to Quinton de Kock, SIX! BOOM! That is right out of the screws! This should probably get de Kock going. This is angled into the pads, de Kock with the angle plays the pick-up shot and sends it into the square leg stands. Also, the 50-run stand is up. The platform is laid, it is now time to launch.

They aren't scoring at a very high rate but have wickets in hand and one would probably feel, they would step on the gas after the break. Hyderabad on the other hand, need a couple of wickets quickly or they might just be staring down a big total.

20.39 IST: Mohammad Nabi to Suryakumar Yadav, SIX! All the way! First of the game and it comes off the bat of SKY! Excellent use of the wrists here. This is outside off and it is full. Yadav whips it right off the middle, the risk is minimal as it is with the turn and clears the mid-wicket fence.

20.37 IST: Basil Thampi to Quinton de Kock, FOUR! Excellent timing and that has raced away! Shorter in length and outside off, de Kock just guides it past point. Third man is running to his left but he has no chance.

* STAT ALERT - A crucial period of play coming up for Mumbai. In the middle overs (7-15), they have lost far too many wickets. Their 32 wickets lost are the most by any side (4 more than the next most - Bangalore). Conserving wickets for the final 5 overs (the death) is crucial.
