New Delhi: Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar now owns a property in Greater Noida. His wife Anjali, who is a doctor by profession, on Wednesday visited the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) to get their property registered.
According to the data provided by the registrar office, the 6-bedroom luxury flat is spread over an area of 314 sq m. On papers, the total cost of the property is listed Rs 1.68 crore. Anjali signed registry papers worth Rs 8.40.
The flat is located at the 21st floor of the Jaypee Crescent Court. The owner’s present address mentioned by Anjali on the registry paper is – 19A, Perry Cross Road, Bandra West, Mumbai.
Six year ago, the company had roped in Sachin as their brand ambassador and promised an apartment at the Jaypee Crescent Court. Later, Sachin had transferred the property to his wife’s name.
Former captain Kapil Dev and RP Singh too have booked flats in the same apartment.
Soon, Sachin will get another 6-bedroom flat registered in his name at Jaypee Crescent Court.
Sachin, often referred to as the ‘God of cricket’, retired from all forms of international cricket on 16th November 2013 after playing almost 24 years for India.
