Hello and welcome to our Live coverage of the one-off Test match between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Zimbabwe have won the toss and and have opted to bat. After Angelo Mathews stepped down as captain from all formats, Dinesh Chandimal has been appointed as their 15th Test skipper. The hosts will have to pull themselves up after a shock series defeat in the ODIs. Nothing less then a win will be acceptable for Chandimal, against a team which is ranked 10th and has never defeated the Lankans in the longest format of the game. They would hope all their players stand up and deliver the goods. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe will be high on confidence. It is a different format altogether and they will have to bring their A game to the fore.
