The West Indian once again has emerged hero at his favourite ground by holding his nerve under immense pressure. What a win for the Orange Army! They have not only ended their losing streak but have also booked their place in the final. Kolkata Knight Riders planned their chase well initially. It was going all hunky-dory for them as their openers looked to score quick runs and provided a solid platform. It was always supposed to be a tough task for them against Hyderabad's spinners, especially Rashid Khan and that turned out to be their undoing. The Afghan started it all with a brilliant piece of fielding to get Nitish Rana run out and then went on to remove Robin Uthappa, Chris Lynn and Andre Russell with his smart variations. Shakib Al Hasan also bowled tidily from one end and picked up the prized scalp of Dinesh Karthik. All in all, a clinical performance in the field, well led by Kane Williamson and Hyderabad find themselves in the summit clash on Sunday. While KKR ticked all the boxes during the business end of the tournament with four wins on the trot, table-toppers Sunrisers have slipped after finishing on top of the league table.
