Matthew Hayden takes a cheeky jibe at Virender Sehwag for his role in a TV ad

Former Australian batsman Matthew Hayden took a cheeky jibe at India's legendary batsman Virender Sehwag who turned babysitter for a TV commercial for Australia's limited-overs tour of India.

The commercial showed Sehwag with a bunch of kids wearing the Australian jersey, saying "Jab hum Australia gaye the, toh unhone poocha tha babysitting karoge? Humne kahaa sabke sab aajaao. Zaroor karenge."

The babysitter reference comes from the banter between Rishabh Pant and skipper Tim Paine in the four-match Test series against Australia.

On seeing the ad, the former swashbuckler reacted to the advertisement by reminding Sehwag on who are the current World Cup holders.

Here's what Hayden had to say. '#BeWarned  Never take Aussie’s for a joke Viru Boy @virendersehwag @StarSportsIndia Just remember who’s babysitting the #WorldCup trophy'.

The babysitting reference created major headlines when skipper Tim Paine asked Rishabh Pant to babysit his kids during the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne last year. The banter became quite popular amongst the fans and reached the highest level when Rishabh was actually seen with his kids along with Paine's wife Bonnie in an Instagram post.

India are slated to play two T20Is and five ODIs against Australia, with the first T20I beginning from February 24 at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru, followed by the second T20I in Vishakapatnam.
