Three-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Mumbai Indians (MI) became the first team in the world to play 200 T20 matches when they took the field against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Saturday at the Wankhede Stadium.
Mumbai pipped the English county team Somerset (199) to own the feat.
MI have been associated with IPL from their inception and was the first team to win the tournament thrice (2013, 2015 and 2017) - all under Rohit Sharma's captaincy, who is also leading Mumbai Indians for the 100th time.
The other IPL teams on the top five list are Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

Earlier in the Match 27 of the IPL, RR won the toss and put MI in to bat. For MI, regular skipper Rohit Sharma came back into the team and Siddhesh Lad missed out. In the last match against Kings XI Punjab, Kieron Pollard led the side to a thrilling 3-wicket victory.
While on the other side, Rajasthan Royals who are struggling this season with only two points in first six matches, made two changes, bringing in Liam Livingstone in place of the injured Ben Stokes while Krishnappa Gowtham replaced Riyan Parag.
