IPL 2019: How to watch IPL 12 live on phone via Hotstar, JioTV and Airtel TV

The 12th edition of the Indian Premier League is just a week old and has already some eye-catching matches. From R Ashwin's Mankad to a Super Over in the Delhi Capitals-Kolkata Knight Riders match as well as a hat-trick from Kings XI Punjab's Sam Curran...it has seen all. However, watching the IPL 2019 games on TV is now always possible. Then how to catch the IPL 12 games? Well! You can live stream the live cricket matches from your own via many apps. Here's how you can watch the matches on your cellphone:

HOTSTAR

Star India has the official broadcast rights for IPL 2019 and Hotstar is their digital platform. You can follow the match live on your smartphone (both Android and iOS) via Hotstar app and the same can be done on their website from a laptop or PC.

You can follow the first 10 minutes for free and then you will have to subscribe to their plan to watch further. You need to have a Hotstar premium account or the Hotstar VIP membership. 

Hotstar premium costs Rs 199 per month but you can also opt for Rs 999 yearly plan. The Hotstar VIP membership costs Rs 365 for a year. Premium Sports pack is also available for Rs 200 with which you can not only follow the IPL but also other sports.

JioTV app

JioTV app has a long list of TV channels which are free for Jio users' Prime membership. You can watch the matches on the channels if you have Jio Prime membership, which costs Rs 99/- year. You also need to have an active data tariff to stream the live matches on your phone or any other device.

Airtel TV app

Bharti Airtel users can livestream the match on the Airtel TV app. Users however need to have the Hotstar app installed in their phone but do not need a premium memebership for that. As long as you have an active data pack of Airtel, you are good to go.
