Wicket keeping master Mahendra Singh Dhoni outstanding show with gloves continued in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Kolkata Knight Riders on Tuesday.
Dhoni, who is famous for his insane antics behind the stumps, this time hunted young Indian batsman Shubhman Gill.
In the 11th over of the match, Tahir bowled a brilliant googly to Gill which he missed completely and Dhoni didn't take much time in destroying the bails.
This is not the first time when Dhoni has shown his quick awareness behind the stumps, earlier for Indian the CSK skipper has done the same many a times.
Here is the commentary of the stumping that removed Gill.
"Imran Tahir to Shubman Gill, OUT! STUMPED! Tahir gets another! Chennai now into the lower order and Kolkata haven't even crossed 50. The googly does the trick. It lands on leg stump, Gill looks to drive it down the ground but leaves a gap between bat and pad. The ball sneaks through, Gill then loses his balance and his back foot comes out of the crease. Dhoni behind collects the ball and whips the bails off."
Apart from Gill's stumping, Dhoni also destroyed Piyush Chawla bails on Harbhajan Singh's delivery.
KKR had a poor day with the bat as they lost quick wickets in the start of their innings with 47/6 on the scoreboard in 10.1 Overs but Andre Russell stood strong on the end while other players keep getting back to the pavilion to take the team to 108/9 in 20 Overs.
Russell played a responsible knock of unbeaten 50 of 44 balls that included only five fours and three massive sixes.
Right-arm pacer Deepak Chahar destroyed KKR top order by picking up three crucial wickets of Chris Lynn, Nitish Rana and Robin Uthappa. While the spinners did the rest of the job for defending champions.
