Hyderabad: After recovering from early losses, defending champions Mumbai Indians have managed to set a respectable total of 142/6 against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the twelfth match of the Indian Premier League at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
David Warner won the toss for Sunrisers Hyderabad and invited Mumbai Indians to bat first.
Martin Guptill and Parthiv Patel once again failed to prove a good start to the team. Guptill made just two runs, whereas Patel made 10 runs from 12 balls.
With Mumbai at one time struggling at 60/4, Ambati Rayudu played a responsible knock of 54 runs from 49 balls and made a crucial partnership of 63 runs with Krunal Pandya, who smashed 49 off just 28 deliveries with three fours and 3 sixes.
Barinder Sran turned out to be the top wicket-taker for Sunrisers Hyderabad and bagged three wickets giving away 28 runs in his 4-over slot.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mustafizur Rahman shared one wicket each.
