The Australian team suffered a major blow as their opening batsman Aaron Finch is sidelined due to injury. The power hitter played a vital role in the hosts in the limited overs format but unfortunately, that hasn't exactly worked out for Australia as England won third ODI to clinch the five-match series. Finch won't play in the fourth match due to a hamstring strain.
Cricket Australia has named Glenn Maxwell would as Finch's replacement, who top-scored with 62 in last Sunday's 16-run loss at Sydney which clinched the five-match series for England.
Finch also scored centuries in the series openers 107 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and 106 at Brisbane in the second.
The Britishers have come back with a vengeance after suffering a humiliating loss in the Ashes series on their rival's backyard.
The fourth ODI is on January 26 in Adelaide.
