19.03 IST: OUT! Another one bites the dust. The youngster is on fire! 3 for Khaleel and 6 for India. He dishes this full and around off, shaping away from Samuels. Marlon is lazy as he reaches out at the ball without moving his feet. The result - an outside edge which flies to captain Kohli at wide first slip where he takes a sharp catch. Windies are in deep, deep trouble now.  WI 56/6 in 13.4 overs

16.17 IST: OUT! India draw first blood. Kumar keeps this on a length around off. Hemraj looks to blast the drive o the up without much footwork. Ends up driving it uppishly to the man at covers where Rayudu takes a sharp catch.  WI 20/1 in 4.2 overs

The Windies opening pair of Kieron Powell and Hemraj Chandrapaul also stride out to the center with the latter taking strike. Bhuvneshwar Kumar to start proceedings for the home side.

*As things stand, you'd back India to win this one. But this game is all about the start. If the Windies' top order can provide that, then they have the likes of Hetmyer, Powell and Holder in the middle who can capitalize on that. Let's see how the Indian bowlers fare on this surface. 17.17 IST: Roach removes Dhoni for 23. A bit of an anti-climatic end to his stay in the middle. Still remains one short of that 10k mark in ODIs. 17.18 IST: Dropped! But what an effort from Fabien Allen. Amazing try. Full and in the slot, Dhoni looks to go big downtown but only skies it to the cover region. Allen runs behind, the ball is coming over his shoulders and he dives forward. Gets his outstretched hands to the ball but can't hold on. Two runs are collected.

17.09 IST: RUN-OUT! Ambati Rayudu departs for 100. Good work from Allen. Nicely done. Brings an end to a fine knock from the Indian no.4. Allen does well here. The batsman can only force it to covers and he takes off. Allen moves to the ball, turns and scores a direct hit at his end. The run is completed though. India 336/3 in 47.3 overs

16.53 IST: SIX! That made a sweet sound off the bat. Monstrous hit from Ambati Rayudu as he moves into the 90s. Low full toss outside off, he moves across, gets under it properly and slogs it deep into the mid-wicket stands. Wow. IND 324/3 in 44.5 overs

16.52 IST: Back of a length coming in on off, Dhoni looks to play at it with the pull but it goes off the shoulder. A leg bye is taken.

* MS Dhoni comes in to bat

16.47 IST: OUT! No double hundred for Rohit today! A brilliant innings comes to an end. Hemraj removes Rohit and a big wicket needed for the WIndies. A bit loose from Rohit and that results in his downfall. RS goes after a wide and full ball outside off.It is too wide though as he slices this uppishly to the man at short backward point. Hemraj, the fielder there, dives in front to take a good catch. Windies get Rohit and that can save them 20-30 runs. IND 312/3 in 44 overs

16.43 IST: FOUR! 15 runs off the over. The 200-run stand also comes up. A bit wide of off this on a length. Rohit flays at it and gets it racing through to the boundary at deep backward point. IND 304/2 in 43 overs

16.40 IST: Rohit Sharma scores 150 off 131 balls. 300 up for India as well. 7th 150 plus score for this champion. Rohit comes inside the line of this shorter of a good length delivery around off. It is a off cutter again and Sharma pulls it over the short fine leg fielder for a boundary.

16.17 IST: SIX! That has been spanked! Takes the new bowler on and does that well. A full ball on the stumps is deposited back over the bowler and over the fence for a supper maximum. Rayudu stayed back in this crease and blasts this one straight for a lovely biggie to put pressure on the spinner straight away. IND 233/2 in 37.1 overs

16.14 IST: FIFTY! Ambati Rayudu scores his 10th ODI half-century off 51 balls. IND 222/2 in 36.2 overs

His hometown crowd stands up and applauds the effort. Short and wide, Rohit cuts this to point. The fielder there premeditates and moves to his left too quickly, and the ball goes from where he was originally standing. It races away to the fence for a boundary. Now, the opener will look to accelerate and score a really big one. IND 197/2 in 32.2 overs

15.55 IST: SIX! A replenishing drink?! Definitely cause Rayudu has gone big. Rayudu's played the spinners very well since he's come on, continues to do the same now. Tossed up around off, he gives the charge to this again and smokes it over long on. The fielder at the rope can only watch it sail over him. IND 187/2 in 31.1 over

* Drinks are on the field. India might have lost their skipper, but they have Rohit Sharma still in the middle and he's looking in fine touch. 15.37 IST: FOUR! Rohit knows what to do with a short ball. The same delivery and again Rohit hits that to deep square leg. Put away. Rovman is too straight with his line. Rohit can just stay on the back foot and pull it behind square leg to find the fence. IND 155/2 in 26.5 overs

14.53 IST: 100 up for India!

14.52 IST: On the fuller side of things, outside off, Kohli drives it through the covers. Sweeper cover moves to his right, slides to stop it. Does so but there's a small doubt that his leg might have touched the rope in doing so. The umpire checks it upstairs and replays show Kieran Powell has done well. Two runs taken.

14.50 IST: Good length ball in the channel outside off, tempts Sharma but he doesn't go for it. Lets it be.

* DRINKS! IND 93/1 in 15 overs. Rohit 35*, Kohli 12*

A good brisk start by India after electing to bat first. They would have been happier to reach here without the loss of their left-handed opener. Captain Kohli though has joined Rohit out there in the middle and both these senior campaigners will look to build a strong partnership and a steady base for some quick acceleration at a later stage. Windies, on the flip side, will be eager to see the back of the century maker - Virat Kohli. Also, they will be more than happy to get the wicket of the dangerous Rohit Sharma as early as possible. A well set Rohit can be as dangerous, if not more.

14.43 IST: Beaten in pace. Shorter in length around off. Kohli tries to turn it away into the leg side but gets beaten as the ball is a bit slow in reaching him. It goes between his bat and body to the keeper behind.IND 93/1 in 15 overs

* Virat Kohli walks in to the middle.

14.20 IST: FOUR! What a Cut by Rohit! Beautiful shot to end the over with a boundary. You cannot give this kind of room to classy batsmen like these. A short and wide ball outside off is cut through the point region with utmost ease by the right-hander. Super shot. IND 63/0 in 11 overs

14.11 IST: Wide! Short and wide of off, Rohit content in letting these ones go behind. Too wide though, Wide given.

14.08 IST: Dishes this one fuller and wide of off. Rohit is skeptical to go after it and decides to watchfully let it be.

14.05 IST: FOUR! 50 up for India! Another one and this time the southpaw steps up. This over seemed like it would have been a maiden, but Dhawan had other plans in mind. Shikhar checks his drive through covers. The ball flies over the fielders in the ring and Shikhar gets a second drive on consecutive balls. IND 51/0 in 8 overs
