The current Indian team's passion for maintaining high fitness levels is well documented. In fact, it is captain Virat Kohli who leads from the front when it is comes to setting standards in the gym. Kohli is a fitness freak and also likes his teammates to keep their bodies in top shape -  the result of which has been constantly visible on the field. The Indian team is now regarded as one of the best fielding units in the world with the players showing no hesitation from throwing themselves on the field to stop some valuable runs for the team.

Ahead of India's third ODI against the West Indies on Friday in Antigua, some of the players were seen sweating it out in the gym. Shikhar Dhawan, who is in ominous form ever since he returned to the team during the Champions Trophy, shared a work out video on his Instagram account, giving a sneak peak into Team India's gym session.

In the video, Dhawan was seen lifting weights under the watchful eyes of Shankar Basu, the team's strength and fitness condition coach and the man widely credited for Kohli's transformation.

Meanwhile, Kohli was seen in a conversation with physio Patrick Farhat, who has recieved numerous praises from the captain for his contribution in keeping the players in shape.

The video also shows young all-rounders Yuvraj Singh and Hardik Pandya in the background.

Later, Pandya too posted a snap on his Instagram, flaunting muscles with Kedar Jadhav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Dhawan.

The Indian team is in the Caribbean to play a limited-overs series, which includes five ODIs and one-off T20I. The visitors took a 1-0 lead in the series after winning the 2nd ODI in Port of Spain by 105 runs. The first match had to be abandoned due to rain.
