Having lost his wicket for a duck in the first Test at Rajkot, India opener KL Rahul, who managed to reserve his slot in the 15-man squad for the Windies Tests unlike seasoned Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay, will be eager to produce an improved show in the second Test, starting Friday in Hyderabad.

The 26-year-old Karnataka-based batsman was seen grinding hard during a net session on Monday. Accepting the 'three runs challenge', Rahul shared a video of himself running to take three runs inside just ten seconds.

"3 runs in ten seconds? Well, I'm giving it a chase. Here’s me going first up on the #3RunsChallenge! Getting #ForeverFaster for the upcoming test," Rahul captioned the video.

In the backdrop of India's biggest ever Test win against West Indies, Rahul's early dismissal and his poor DRS judgment were the biggest matters of concern for the No.1-Test side.

By the end of the first over, India had lost both Rahul and a review as the right-hander decided to challenge the on-field umpire's decision when Shannon Gabriel trapped him LBW.

However, Virat Kohli and Co demolished an apathetic, disinterested West Indies side to register their biggest ever win in Test cricket by an innings and 272 runs.

India dominated the game, amassing 649 for nine in their first innings before bowling out the West Indies twice on day three, to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.

Windies were bundled out for 181 in 48 overs before lunch and were expectedly forced to follow-on. They did not fare any better in the second innings, crumbling to 196 all out in 50.5 overs in the final session.
