India vs Australia, 4th ODI: Usman Khawaja, who is only 25 ODIs old. Peter Handscomb, who has only 15 ODIs under his belt and Turner, probably Australia's new finisher has played a gem of a knock in his second one day game. It was Khawaja and Handscomb to start with. The two played themselves in, steadied the ship but always moved along at a good rate. The two added a massive 192-run stand with the former missing out on a ton and the latter scoring one. (Match scorecard)
Australia beat India by 4 wickets
* WE HAVE A DECIDER! What a game and what a chase this is! Who would have thought at 12 for 2 with the Aussie skipper, Finch and Australia's best batsman in ODIs in the last year or so, Marsh, back in the hut, the Aussies, let alone win it but would even come close.
21.36 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Ashton Turner, That is the victory. What a great win for the Aussies! Turner hits this towards mid on and comes back for the second. The throw was at the striker's end but Ashton made it in time. AUSTRALIA BEAT INDIA BY 4 WICKETS.
21.34 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Alex Carey, OUT c Shikhar Dhawan b Jasprit Bumrah. Australia have lost their sixth wicket.
21.33 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Alex Carey, FOUR LEG BYES! Everything going the yellow way. Full and on the leg side, Carey looks to work it away but the ball hits his pads and goes past Pant on the leg side to the fine leg boundary.
21.32 IST: Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Alex Carey, FOUR. Runs needed into single digits now! Down the leg side, Carey flicks it past square leg inside the ring and a boundary results.
21.32 IST: Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Ashton Turner, In the air... and dropped again! One has to believe, it is Turner's night today. A low full toss outside off, Turner looks to go over mid off but does not get the desired timing. It goes straight to Dhawan there who spills it. After the last boundary though, I do not think, this catch would have made a difference had it been taken.
21.29 IST: Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Ashton Turner, FOUR! Adding salt to the wound here. Dropped on the last ball and a boundary on this one. Short and this time Turner gets his pull squarer. No one in the deep and a boundary.
21.28 IST: DROPPED! Kedar Jadhav has probably dropped the match! It is the slower short ball on middle, Turner goes back and looks to pull. It goes off the toe-end towards deep mid-wicket. Jadhav there may have misjudged it as he looks to take it with a dive forward in the end. He though spills it.
21.27 IST: Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Ashton Turner, SIX! Power, all power there. Full and on middle, Turner shuffles across and then lifts it over the long on fence.
21.23 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Ashton Turner, SIX! What a shot this is! This lad has played an innings of a lifetime. At the very end, he just shuffles across and then paddles it over short fine leg. The contact is such that the ball carries all the way for a biggie.
21.22 IST: FOUR! 8 from the 3 balls! Even the ever-reliable Bumrah is going for runs here. Carey once again makes room and hits it through point. It races away to the fence.
21.19 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Alex Carey, Another couple! This is brilliant batting! Also that is the 50-run stand and it has come up only in 28 balls. It has turned the game into Australia's favour but they need to continue as there is not a lot of batting left after this. Once again this is clever batting. Carey makes room and then pushes it through covers. The weight on the shot is perfect and the batsmen pick up two.
* Change of ends for Jasprit Bumrah.
21.17 IST: Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Ashton Turner, SIX! Oh boy! Turner is in the mood. Fuller ball on middle and leg, Turner flicks it high and handsome over square leg for a maximum.
21.16 IST: Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Ashton Turner, FOUR! Maiden fifty for Turner. He is turning the game on his hands. Short ball on the off side, Turner pulls it through square leg and gets another boundary.
21.14 IST: Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Ashton Turner, SIX! Full toss on off, Turner lofts it over the mid-wicket region and deposits it into the stands.
21.11 IST: NOT OUT! The batsman has his feet grounded and there is no edge too. Both the teams have now do have a review left. Turner moves away and Chahal fires it outside off. Turner swings but seems to have missed it. Pant collects it and whips the bails off. He is also appealing for the catch. First the square leg umpire takes it upstairs but then Pant wants it to be reviewed for a caught behind. Kohli does so. Replays roll in and they first show that Turner's back foot is in. Ultra Edge later on does show some spike but that is even before the ball passes the bat. Also, there is day light between bat and ball and hence, it is ruled in the favor of the batsman.
* Rishabh Pant has taken the bails off. The umpire takes it up to the TV umpire. Also, Pant suggests the umpire that Turner might have got a nick to this.
21.04 IST: WIDE! Yuzvendra Chahal to Ashton Turner, A chance goes down! This one was an easy stumping chance for Pant. Pressure getting to him maybe. Chahal bowls it down the leg side. Turner looks to flick but misses. He loses his balance in doing so and is outside the crease. Pant fails to collect the ball and Turner gets back in. This could prove very costly.
21.02 IST: FOUR! Proper cricketing shot! When he can play these, why try the paddle? Stays inside the crease and guides it past backward point away from third man to the fence.
* Jasprit Bumrah is back into the attack.
20.58 IST: SIX! Ashton is turning it on here! Finishes the over with a bang. 10 from this one too. Walks across and slams the delivery on off over long on for a biggie.
* The next batsman in is Alex Carey.
20.54 IST: OUT! Chahal strikes on his very first ball of his new spell. The centurion departs and now 359 looks farfetched. Clever bowling here. Chahal sees Handscomb coming down the track so bowls it wide outside off. Peter aims for the shorter boundary which is the straight boundaries. He though gets it off the toe-end. It lobs towards long off where Rahul runs in and takes it. Australia 271/5 in 41.1 overs vs India (358/9)
20.52 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Peter Handscomb, Well fielded! Every run is important here. A low full toss on off, Handscomb hits it wide of long on. Kohli there runs to his right, dives and saves two.
20.50 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Ashton Turner, SIX! Stand and deliver! The over could not have started any better. The googly but it is a little too full. Turner just reaches out for it and tonks it over the bowler's head for a biggie.
* Powerplay 3 signalled by the umpire. Maximum of 5 fielder can now be placed outside the 30-yard circle till the end of the match.
20.48 IST: FOUR! Unlucky for the bowler. Yorker! Right on middle, Handscomb does well to churn it down to fine leg. The fine leg fielder is wide and the ball runs to the fence.
20.46 IST: Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Ashton Turner, Follows Turner down leg, Turner still manages to pull it through mid-wicket and pick a couple of runs.
* Bhuvneshwar Kumar replaces Yuzvendra Chahal.
20.43 IST: FOUR! Third boundary in the over! 13 from it. Short and on middle, Handscomb picks the length early. Goes back and pulls it along the ground in the gap in the mid-wicket region. 107 more needed in 66. The game is excellently set up here.
20.41 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Ashton Turner, FOUR! Back-to-back boundaries! This time it is the sweep shot. Hits it very nicely and it goes to the square leg fence like a tracer bullet.
20.39 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Ashton Turner, FOUR! Brute! Tosses it up on off, Turner smashes it through mid off. The fielder at long off has no chance and a boundary.
* Only four runs from the over and picked a crucial wicket of Maxwell
* Ashton Turner walks out to the middle.
20.31 IST: OUT! Looked out and it is out! Three reds and the big show's innings has come to an end. He takes a review along with him. The bowling change has worked wonders and the Indians are pumped up. He brings out the reverse sweep. These shots are wonderful when they come off but not a good sight when they don't. It does not work for Maxwell as he misses. It hits him on the front pad. An appeal follows and the umpire raises the finger. Australia 229/4 in 36.1 overs
20.28 IST: SIX! SMASHED! Didn't look like he got all of it but still has the power to travel all over. Short ball on off, Maxwell is quick to transfer his weight back and pull it over the long on fence.
20.25 IST: Yuzvendra Chahal to Glenn Maxwell, Tossed up on middle, Maxwell swipes at deep square leg. Shankar dives and keeps it to two.
* Chahal returns to attack
20.22 IST: CENTURY! 100 for Peter Handscomb. His maiden ODI ton and what a time to get it. Australia were down and out after losing two quick wickets but he has stepped up to the occasion here in a must-win game. The job though is still not done and he would know that. He however, gets there in the most unconvincing manner.
* Bhuvneshwar Kumar returns to attack
20.17 IST: FOUR! This is an excellent contest between the two, for now, it is Maxwell who is winning it. Short and on the body, Maxwell swivels and pulls it fine down the leg side for a boundary.
20.15 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Glenn Maxwell, FOUR! How good was that shot to get off the mark? The bottom hand comes into play there. Length and angling into the batsman. Maxwell whips it past mid on and the ball races to the fence.
* Glenn Maxwell is the new batsman in.
20.13 IST: OUT! In the air... taken! There is the breakthrough Kohli wanted, there is the breakthrough the crowd here wanted and there is the breakthrough India wanted. Bumrah has provided it. How often has this guy stepped up to the plate when his team needed him? Bumrah is just too good. The short ball does the trick for him. It skids off the surface. Khawaja goes for the pull but does not get on top of the bounce. It takes the top edge and lobs towards fine leg. Kuldeep there runs in and takes a tumbling catch. Khawaja walks back 9 short of a ton but his partnership with Handscomb has brought the Aussies back into the game. 155 more needed. Australia 204/3 in 33.1 overs vs India (358/9)

20.02 IST: Bumrah brought back into the attack. They desperately need a wicket here.
* A reaction to the LBW not given.
19.58 IST: NOT OUT! Khawaja is safe. What a review that and a very important one as Khawaja is well-set and Australia need him to continue. India though are shocked as they can't believe it is going down leg. Jadhav bowls the quicker one from wide of the crease. It is full. Khawaja looks to sweep but misses and gets hit on the pads. An appeal follows and the umpire raises the finger.
19.56 IST: An LBW appeal and the umpire has raised the finger! A review has been taken by the batsman. A close call. Is it slipping down leg?
* Kedar Jadhav replaces Kuldeep Yadav.

Meanwhile, the batsmen steal a run as the ball was away from the fielder.
19.29 IST: Yuzvendra Chahal to Peter Handscomb, Pant saves a boundary there! This is flatter and on middle, Handscomb plays a risky shot as he tries to guide it down to third man. It takes a faint outside edge and goes to the right of the keeper. Pant sticks a leg out Dhoni style and saves four.
