Highlights, India vs Australia 1st ODI from Hyderabad: IND win by six wickets

* This has been a partnership for the ages! India take an early lead in the ODI series. At 99/4 it did not look like the Indians were going to have it easy. But how wrong have we been proved? The duo of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav has built an unbeaten partnership of 141 runs and taken their team across the line. The Australians did more than well with the ball but it just was not enough in the end. Both the batsmen got to their fifties, Jadhav playing the aggresor's role.

21.22 IST: Marcus Stoinis to MS Dhoni, FOUR! MSD finishes it off in style! Stoinis angles in a length ball on middle, Dhoni heaves it off the inner half of his bat and it goes flying over mid-wicket for the winning runs. INDIA WIN BY 6 WICKETS!

21.20 IST: FOUR! Scores are levelled! Short of a length delivery outside off, Dhoni camps back and slaps it past the point fielder for a boundary. Calm and composed.

21.19 IST:  High and handsome! Jadhav, you little gem! It's too full and in the line of the stumps, Kedar clears his front leg and hoists it over wide long on for a biggie. Just 5 more needed.

21.17 IST: Nathan Coulter-Nile to MS Dhoni, FIFTY FOR DHONI! The crowd erupts! The Indian players in the dressing room are clapping. What a player! What a finisher for India! Full in length outside off, Dhoni drives it down through mid off for a run. This is his 71st ODI fifty. India were in a spot of bother when he came out to bat but held one end and has put the home team in a commanding position along with Kedar Jadhav. Legend.

* Nathan Coulter-Nile is back.

21.12 IST: Pat Cummins to Kedar Jadhav, Wide! Pat Cummins goes for the bouncer but loses his radar and bowls it down the leg side for which he is penalised.

* Pat Cummins is back into the attack.

21.08 IST: Adam Zampa to Kedar Jadhav, FOUR! Boom! Jadhav is in full throttle now with the winning line in sight. Attacks a full ball outside off and lofts it inside-out with the turn over extra cover for a boundary. IND 215/4 in 45.2 Overs

21.05 IST: Marcus Stoinis to Kedar Jadhav, FOUR! This guy is making the game too simple here. Finch is seen scratching his head, looks to be out of ideas. The length ball on middle and Jadhav pulls it away over square leg for an easy boundary.

20.58 IST: Pat Cummins to Kedar Jadhav, Good length delivery outside off, Jadhav pushes it gently through covers for one. 200 up for India!

20.57 IST: Pat Cummins to Kedar Jadhav, FOUR! Cheeky, Jadhav! A short delivery outside off, Kedar waits patiently on the back foot and at the last moment just uses the pace of the bowler to ramp it down towards third man for a boundary. IND 199/4 in 43.3 Overs

* Pat Cummins to bowl now, replacing Jason Behrendorff.

20.52 IST: Marcus Stoinis to Kedar Jadhav, Slower one on the off stump line, Jadhav turns it away to fine leg for a couple of runs. He gets to his fifty, his 5th in ODIS. This has come as a very important time as well for his team. 43 overs done, the hosts now need 43 runs in 42 balls.

* Marcus Stoinis is now on.

20.45 IST: Jason Behrendorff to Kedar Jadhav, FOUR! Fine, fine shot from Jadhav! A little bit overpitched on middle, Jadhav plays a gorgeous on drive and beats the mid on fielder for a boundary. This shot will release the nerves.

20.43 IST: Pat Cummins to Kedar Jadhav, FOUR! Lovely short-arm jab. A short one on middle and Jadhav decides to go through with the pull. He manages to get enough bat on it to take it over the head of the mid-wicket fielder. Finds the rope as well. The last ball ruins yet another over. 6 runs came off this one.

* Powerplay 3 begins. Australia can push an extra fielder outside the ring now. A maximum of five allowed till the end. 61 needed off 60 balls.

20.35 IST: Adam Zampa to Kedar Jadhav, Shorter in length this time, Kedar pulls it away through mid-wicket. Dhoni forces his partner to come back for the second. He makes it easily at the bowler's end where the throw is.

* Adam Zampa is back on. Has figures of 8-0-39-2 so far.

20.31 IST: FOUR! That has sped away! Looks like the dew is coming into play. A short of a length ball outside off, Jadhav just angles this away fine on the off side. Third man looks like he had it covered but the ball suddenly raced across the outfield and beats him to the rope. IND 172/7 in 38.4 Overs

* Pat Cummins is back on.

20.29 IST: Nathan Coulter-Nile to MS Dhoni, FOUR! Streaky! A length ball on top of off stump, Dhoni looks to work it on the leg side but gets an outside edge that runs away fine on the off side for a boundary.

20.28 IST: Dropped short! The ball has just landed in front of Stoinis' left hand. A short of a length ball on middle, Dhoni flat-bats it towards mid on without much timing. Marcus there dives to his left and stops the ball but thinks he has taken the catch. There is confusion and the umpires take it to the third umpire.

* Has that been taken? Stoinis at mid on seems to be claiming that catch but is not too sure. Dhoni looks unperturbed. The umpires take it upstairs and the soft signal is not out.

20.24 IST: Coulter-Nile to Dhoni, SIX! That is vintage Dhoni. Reminds us a bit off that World Cup winning shot. The required run rate comes back below 6 with that one. IND 164/4 in 37.2 overs

20.20 IST: Jason Behrendorff to MS Dhoni, FOUR! Straying on the pads and Dhoni does really well to guide it fine on the leg side. Long leg is really square and cannot come around. The over begins with a boundary, India will be happy. IND 157/4 in 36.1 overs

20.13 IST: Jason Behrendorff to MS Dhoni, FOUR! Blazed away! Behrendorff alters his length to go short, Dhoni is waiting for it inside the crease like a fox. Immediately latches onto it and smashes it across the line through mid-wicket for a boundary. IND 145/4 in 34.4 overs

20.11 IST: Marcus Stoinis to Kedar Jadhav, FOUR! Very nicely done! Stoinis digs in a short ball around off at 129.2 kph, Jadhav waits on his back foot and pulls it powerfully over mid-wicket for a boundary. IND 139/4 in 34 overs

20.00 IST: Jason Behrendorff to Kedar Jadhav, Leading edge and in the air! Drops just short of Maxwell at point. A length ball and the ball rares off the pitch once more. Jadhav looked to turn that away on the leg side but the ball takes the outside half and pops towards point. Luckily for the batsman, it does not carry.

19.56 IST: In the air... JUST SHORT! Ufffff... that was really close. It takes off from a good length around off, Dhoni attempts to play it on the leg side but it climbs onto him and hits him on the thumb. The ball loops up towards the off side, Marcus charges towards it but it falls just wide of him.  IND 129/4 in 31.4 Overs

19.48 IST: FOUR! Another loose ball on the last ball of an over. Zampa tosses this wide outside off and full, Jadhav gets in position early before hitting over extra-cover for a boundary. What would have been a 2-run over ends up being a 6-run over.

* Adam Zampa with a change of ends. Meanwhile, Dhoni has got a change of bats.

19.43 IST: Excellent over from Stoinis only two runs from it. IND 115/4 in 28 Overs

*  Marcus Stoinis returns into the attack, replacing Adam Zampa.

19.38 IST: Pat Cummins to Kedar Jadhav, Great effort from Handscomb in the deep! A fuller length ball follows the bouncer but the line is on the pads. Jadhav manages to find the gap through mid-wicket. Peter from deep square leg runs to his left, dives full length and pushes the ball inside the rope. Saves a run for his team.

19.33 IST: FOUR! The pressure is off! A drag down from Zampa on middle and this time, Jadhav is ready for it as he pulls it away through mid-wicket. There is no one back there and the ball has to be fetched from outside the rope. IND 109/4 in 25.4 Overs

19.29 IST: FOUR! Dhoni was not in control of that but picks up four runs. A short of a length ball on middle, MS without much foot movement attempts the pull. The ball goes off the top edge and towards fine leg. No fielder out there and it goes into the fence on a bounce. AUS 105/4 in 24.3 Overs

* Looks like Jadhav has some problem with the sightscreen and wants it adjusted. Actually with a chair which is in front of the screen, and it is being moved away.

* Pat Cummins is back on.

Kedar Jadhav is the next man in.

19.23 IST: OUT! India lose another and it looks like someone has turned the volume down at the stadium. A flatter ball outside off and turning a bit away. IND 99/4

19.14 IST:
Zampa is back on for Australia as the visitors look to mount the pressure.

*MS Dhoni is the new man in and he arrives to a huge cheer.

19.12 IST: OUT! Massive moment in the game. If the Kohli wicket did not put a few jitters in the Indian camp, this one certainly will. Four dot balls before this and it looked like Rohit was itching to get this one away. A length ball on middle, he looks to turn it away on the leg side. He closes the bat face a little too early and the ball takes the leading edge and goes straight up in the air, only as far as Finch at mid off. The Aussies have struck twice in quick time and are super pumped up. This game is not yet over! IND 95/3

19.07 IST: FOUR!
The last ball of the over ruins the over. How many times have we seen this happen? Only 3 runs in this over so far, Stoinis goes for a bouncer. Rayudu is quick to get into position and pulls it away in the gap between the two deep fielders on the leg side.

19.00 IST: FOUR! Quality shot from a quality batsman! An overpitched delivery wide outside off, Rayudu reaches out for it and cracks his cover drive for a boundary. Didn't try to hit it hard, just concentrated on his timing and placement. IND 86/2

*Ambati Rayudu is the next man in.

* DRINKS! A massive break against the run of play for the visitors. Kohli was looking in supreme touch and the Aussies have seen the back of him just before the Drinks break. They will now look to build up and pick a few more quick wickets from here. Meanwhile for the hosts, Rohit will look to join hands with the new man, Ambati Rayudu and take India ahead. Exciting times ahead!

18.54 IST: OUT! Pad first and also, three reds and this is a huge wicket and that too a much-needed one as this partnership was starting to take the game away from the visitors. Zampa has the last laugh and he is mighty pleased. The slider does the trick for him. He lands it on middle and the ball skids through. Kohli looks to defend but it seems to have hit the pad first and then the bat. A huge appeal from the bowler follows but the umpire is unmoved. Finch signals for the 'T' straightaway and replays show that the on-field call has to be overturned.

* Review time... Loud appeal from the Aussies for an LBW against Virat Kohli. The umpire is unmoved but Zampa thinks it was pad first. His captain takes it upstairs! Let's see what the replays have to say...

18.52 IST: FOUR! Edged, no slip in place and a boundary. Quicker and outside off, Virat looks to cut but the ball goes off the outside edge and to the third man fence.

* Marcus Stoinis is into the attack.

18.42 IST: FOUR! Short and punished. Leg spinner on middle, Kohli rocks onto his back foot and punches it through mid-wicket. Marcus Stoinis dives to his right but cannot stop the ball from going to the fence. IND 62/1

18.39 IST: Good running! A length ball outside off, Rohit guides the ball away wide of point in the gap. Used the pace there did the batsman. The batsmen come back for a quick second.

18.38 IST: Flatter and on the pads, Kohli looks to flick but misses and gets hit on the pads. A huge appeal from the bowler but the ball is always sliding down.

* Adam Zampa is on now.

Rohit Sharma is seen waving at the dressing room, asking for something at the end of the over. A spray for the blow earlier in the over maybe?

18.26 IST: Ouch! That is a stinger! This one explodes of the length, Rohit looks to defend but the ball hits him right on the arm. He then takes the glove off and takes a minute for himself.

18.24 IST: FOUR! Kohli is done with the waiting game. Good length delivery on middle and off. Virat comes down the track and slaps it straight through mid off for a boundary.

* Powerplay 2 has been signaled! Now a maximum of 4 fielders can be placed outside the ring till the 40th over.

18.22 IST: SIX! SMASHED! This one is out of here. Shorter delivery on off, Kohli picks the line early. He keeps his balance and whacks the pull over the fine leg fence for a maximum. IND 41/1 in 9.4 Overs

18.16 IST: FOUR! Innovation and it comes off! It did not in the T20I but it did here. Plays the paddle and gets it quite fine and to the fine leg fence.

18.12 IST: Wide! Down the leg side, Kohli looks to pull but misses. Carey dives to his left but fails to stop it cleanly. A single is taken.

* Pat Cummins is now into the attack.

18.08 IST: FOUR! Dealing in boundaries are the Indians here. Outside off and it is full. Rohit lofts it over the mid on fielder and fetches another boundary.

18.05 IST: FOUR! Short and it sits up to be hit! Kohli is quickly onto the back foot and he pulls it through square leg. No chance for the fine leg fielder. Second boundary in the over and runs now have started to come. IND 22/1 in 4.5 Overs

18.03 IST: FOUR! Too easy! Coulter-Nile looks to hit the pads of Virat as he bowls it full on middle. Too easy that for the Indian skipper as he flicks it over square leg for a boundary IND 18/1 in 5.2 Overs

18.01 IST: FOUR! A little too full and Jason pays the price. Rohit at the very end opens the face and guides it past point. It is away from the fielder at third man and a boundary. Good end to the over for India.

17.58 IST: In the air... but just over! Heart-in-mouth moment for Kohli. He takes a few steps ahead and looks to work it on the onside. Closes the face of the bat a little too early. Only manages to get a leading edge which goes over mid off who is quite inside the circle and a run is taken. IND 10/1

17.54 IST: FOUR! Full, wide, asking to be hit and Rohit does that. He just leans into it and strokes it through cover-point for a boundary.

17.52 IST: Yes, he can! Back-to-back tight overs for Australia. On the middle stump, Kohli works it to mid-wicket. IND 5/1 in 3 Overs

* Nathan Coulter-Nile bowls a wicket maiden.

* Skipper Virat Kohli walks in at number 3.

17.46 IST: OUT! Dhawan bags a first baller! Australia needed early wickets defending a below-par total, they have got one here. Nothing too great about the delivery, it is full and outside off. Dhawan goes after it straightaway. He drives it square on the off side but does not keep it down. Maxwell at point takes an easy one. IND 4-1

* Four runs from the first over.

17.41 IST: FOUR! Off the mark in style! A boundary to get the chase underway. Jason bowls it on the fuller side and gets some swing into the batsman. The ball though ends up on the pads. Rohit flicks it through mid-wicket and a boundary results.

* Welcome back for the chase. A modest target of 237 is on the cards as Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan make their way out to the middle. Jason Behrendorff has the first new ball in hand for the Aussies. A slip in place, all set to go... Let's play!

* 237 to win in 50 overs, then. Does not look a very big total, to be honest, but a couple of early wickets and you never know with India's ever-so-fragile middle order. Australia will hope for exactly the same. Meanwhile, the hosts will know that a good opening stand will set the platform for a comfortable chase. What will happen? Join us in a short while for the second innings to find out!

* Kuldeep says that the first 10 overs of the innings were very crucial. Mentions that the fast bowlers picking up wickets and keeping it tight helped the spinners. Adds that he used the first two overs to get back into the rhythm as he was coming back into the action after a 20-day break. Reckons that the wicket is a little slow and it is difficult to play spin. Informs that he realized the wicket is slow after bowling a couple of overs and hence he bowled at a slower pace post that. When asked about his loop, he states that Khawaja was coming down the track and that's why he kept tossing it up. Feels Handscomb's wicket was special. Signs off by admitting that he practices different variations in the nets and tries to deceive the batsmen with the wrong 'uns.

* Aaron Finch won the toss but could not do much with the bat as he trudged off for a third ball duck and continued with his string of low scores. That though was followed by a hard-fought partnership of 87 between Usman Khawaja and Marcus Stoinis, who walked in at number 3. But just when it seemed like the Aussies were accelerating, the partnership-breaker Kedar Jadhav came to the fore picking the wicket of Stoinis. Khawaja went on to reach his fifty but could not continue longer as he holed out in the deep. Handscomb too fell after getting a start. The star of the T20Is, Glenn Maxwell reached 40 at a decent clip but fell at the wrong time for the visitors. At that time, it seemed like it would be really hard for the away side to bat out the entire 50 overs but a decent partnership in the end of 62 runs between Nathan Coulter-Nile and Alex Carey for the seventh wicket gave the total some respectability and the Aussie bowlers something to play with.

17.02 IST:

* A stop and start innings from Australia. They will be disappointed having ended at least 25-30 runs short of the total that they would have liked, especially after winning the toss and electing to bat on this decent surface in Hyderabad. And more so when Jasprit Bumrah had a rare off day. Kudos though have to be given to Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and mainly, Mohammed Shami who bowled economically while picking up wickets at regular interval as well. They never let the Aussies off the hook and kept the scoring rate under control right through the innings.

16.58 IST: Just a single to end! A good over though for the Australians as 10 comes from it. Carey again makes room but the bowler follows him. Alex ends up chopping it to the keeper for a run. AUSTRALIA END WITH 236 FOR 7!

16.55 IST: OUT! Nathan Coulter-Nile holes out! Bumrah bangs it short and on the body, Nathan looks to pull but it hits the higher portion of the bat. It goes straight down the throat of Kohli at long on. The good thing is though, the batsmen have crossed and Carey will be on strike.

16.54 IST: Back-to-back boundaries! Carey does the smart thing now, stands still. Bumrah bowls it on the pads. Alex whips it through square leg for a boundary.

16.52 IST: FOUR! Much, much-needed. They need a few more. Short and outside off, it is the slower one again. Carey looks to cut but gets an outside edge to the third man fence.

16.51 IST: FOUR! Poor fielding from Bumrah at short third man. Shami looks for a wide yorker and in a rare moment today he misses it. He serves up a full toss outside off, Carey looks to hit it on the off side but gets a thick outside edge. Bumhra misfields it and the ball goes away for a boundary. AUS  225/6 in 48.5 Overs

16.49 IST: DOUBLE! Coulter-Nile drives the ball into the gap and ran hard for the double.

16.47 IST: Another dot! Slower ball outside off, Coulter-Nile opens the face of the bat and guides it to short third man. The idea was right from NCN but the execution was not there.

16.44 IST: FOUR! Great shot. Full-length delivery outside off. It is in the slot for Coulter-Nile to swing his arm. He slices it over the mid off fielder and the ball goes away to the fence. AUS 216/6 in 47 Overs

16.42 IST: In the air....but falls safe. Slower delivery on a length. Coulter-Nile goes for the pull. It hits him high on his bat and goes way up in the sky. Vijay Shankar runs to the right from long on but cannot get there. Two runs taken by the batsmen. AUS 212/6

16.40 IST: FOUR!!! Powerful. Full length delivery on middle and leg. Carey moves his front leg out of the line and whacks it through covers for a boundary.

16.35 IST: FOUR! Off the inside edge but Australia will take everything that comes their way. Full and wide outside off, Nathan throws his bat at it, the ball goes off the inside edge, past the off pole and down to the fine leg fence. 200 up for Australia, 4 overs to go after this one. How many more can they get?

*  Jasprit Bumrah is back into the attack. He has figures of 7-0-42-1 so far.

16.28 IST: An appeal but not given! The leg spinner from him on off, Carey gets outside the line of off stump and looks to reverse. He misses to get hit on the pads. An appeal follows but the umpire shakes his head. Kuldeep likes it but Dhoni feels it is not worth reviewing. Kohli listens to Dhoni and does not do so.

16.25 IST: A couple! Fortunate one though. The googly but it is on the shorter side, it pitches around off and then turns away. Coulter-Nile first thinks of cutting it but then seeing the ball turn away looks to bail out. The ball though hits the bottom, goes between the legs of Dhoni and two taken.

16.24 IST: FOUR! Tossed up delivery on middle, Carey brings out the reverse sweep and connects it well to send it to the fence at backward point for a boundary.  AUS 187/6 in 42.5 Overs

* Kedar Jadhav back on attack

* Only two runs for Kuldeep's Over.

* Kuldeep Yadav returns to attack.

16.17 IST: FOUR! No power there just uses the pace of the ball. Full length delivery on middle and leg, Coulter-Nile just shows the face of the bat and pushes it straight down the ground for a boundary.

* BOOM BOOM Bumrah is back on attack.

*  Nathan Coulter-Nile walks out to the crease.

16.14 IST: OUT! The Big Show is out of here and Australia are now in big, big trouble! Shami gets his second. He lands this one on a length around off, it pitches and comes back in. AUS 173/6 in 39.5 Overs

16.12 IST: Four dots as once again Maxwell flicks it nicely but finds the man at mid-wicket. Shami on a roll here. AUS 172/5 in 39.4 Overs

* Alex Carey is the new man in.

16.03 IST: OUT! TIMBER! The debutant falls after getting to a start. It seemed like Shami bowled a slower one but the speed gun shows 135kph. It is on the shorter side. Not very short though. Turner goes for the pull but the ball does not bounce as much as he expected it to. It goes off the inside edge and onto the stumps. Anther partnership which was looking good is cut short. Frustrating this for the Aussies but good for the Indians. They now have half of Australia's side back in the hut. AUS 169/5

16.00 IST: Good running! Maxwell pushes it off the back foot towards mid on and gets to the other end.

15.52 IST: SIX! What a shot! He got his first boundary in ODIs in the last over and now his first maximum. The slower bumper, Turner picks it early. He goes back and pulls it over the mid-wicket fence. A maximum early in the over, Australia now need to make this count. AUS 161/4 in 35.2 Overs

DRINKS! India continue to remain on top but Australia have Glenn Maxwell out there who is looking good. Turner here has a good chance to show what he is capable of. 15 more overs to go and Australia will be aiming for something around 270 but they need the two out there to continue. India on the other hand, know a couple of quick wickets and the visitors might just struggle to get to 240.

15.48 IST: FOUR! Shorter on off, Turner picks the length early and rocks onto his back foot. He keep his balance and punches it through mid-wicket for a boundary. His first boundary in ODI cricket.

15.45 IST: FOUR! This should break the shackles! On the shorter side, Maxwell goes back and then punches it through covers. He finds the gap and a boundary results. AUS 148/4 in 33.4 overs

15.40 IST: Looped up outside off, Turner reaches out without much foot movement and looks to push the ball to long off but the ball goes off the inside half and towards mid-wicket.

15.34 IST: OUT! Stumped! Beaten in the air there! That is Kuldeep Yadav's guile and even a good player of spin like Handscomb has been done in. Yadav flights this one beautifully outside off and draws the batsman forward. Peter is though nowhere close to the ball and the spin on the ball is too much. It goes through the gap between bat and pad towards Dhoni who collects and flicks off the bails in a flash. PH was at sea and had no chance of getting back. The budding partnership of 36 has been broken and it is a really good time for India to get this wicket, especially with a debutant deemed to bat next.  Kuldeep removes Handscomb for 19. Australia 133/4 in 30 overs

15.31 IST: FOUR! Maxwell on a hot streak here! Kuldeep flights this one generously outside off and Glenn strides out and drives the ball in the gap between the two extra-covers in position. No one in the deep and the ball will have to be fetched back. AUS 132/3 in 29.1 overs

15.27 IST: FOUR! What a shot! This is outside off, there is not a lot of width on offer. Handscomb still manages to somehow guide it past the fielder at point and away from the fielder at third man. A boundary. AUS 126/3 in 28.3 overs

15.26 IST: Good fielding! Saves a run for his side. On the stumps, Maxwell goes back and punches it back past the bowler. Rayudu from mid on, gives it a chase and manages to pull it back before it crosses the ropes.

15.24 IST: FOUR! Classy cover drive there by Maxwell. Just shows what form this guy is in. A little too full by Kuldeep, Maxwell leans into it and strokes it through extra cover. Dealing in boundaries is Maxwell.  AUS 118/3 in 27.5 overs

15.23 IST: EDGED AND FOUR! Full length delivery outside off. The ball comes in after pitching. Maxwell looks to drive but gets a thick outside edge. There is a slip in place for that kind of an edge. But Rohit Sharma at second slip reacts late. AUS 113/3 om 27 overs

15.22 IST: FOUR! Brilliant shot. Back of a length delivery outside off, Maxwell gets on his back foot and punches it through cover. Shikhar Dhawan comes running to his right and puts a dive to save it from going to the fence. He does well to get there but cannot stop it.

15.21 IST: Good length delivery on off, Peter guides it towards third man and gets to the other end.

15.17 IST: Maxwell goes back and punches it towards cover where the fielder makes a good stop diving to his right. Saves a run.

* The in-form Glenn Maxwell walks out at number 5.

15.10 IST: OUT! In the air... taken! Khawaja will have to wait longer for his maiden ODI ton. Another set batsmen is back in the hut. Khawaja uses his feet and swings across the line. He connects well but hits it a little too close to the fielder at deep mid-wicket. Shankar there runs to his right and holds onto it with a slide. A very good catch that as Shankar had to make good ground to his right. The bowling change has worked for the hosts and Australia are in a spot of bother here. Kuldeep removes Khawaja for 50. Australia 97/3 in 23.5 Overs

15.06 IST: FIFTY! Shorter and on the pads, Khawaja easily nudges it towards fine leg to get to his 6th ODI fifty. He will be looking to convert this to a big one and get to his maiden century. Australia 95/2 in 22.5 Overs

15.05 IST: Misfield and a couple! A lazy effort you can say. A little too full by Jadeja. Peter leans into it and strokes it through covers. Shankar should have done better, he though fails to go down and the ball goes underneath his hand. Kohli does the mopping up job and keeps it down to two.

14.59 IST: Loopy and full on middle, Handscomb eases it down to long on and gets off the mark with a run. AUS 88/2
