Indian team is all set to lock horns with Afghanistan on Tuesday for the Super Four clash at Asia Cup 2018 in Dubai. India will look forward to extending their winning streak in Asia Cup as they are unbeatable in the current edition of the tournament. On the other side, Afghanistan are playing quality cricket and showing immense growth in their game but are failing to reach the victory line in crucial games.
Men in Blue have already qualified for the finals of the tournament and will look on to make some changes in the match against Afghan side. Shikhar Dhawan might get rest as he has been in an astonishing run in the tournament and he will be a key player in the final for India, his body might need some rest as he was also part of the entire England tour. In the clash, we might see some more changes from Team Blue as they might be tempted to test and experiment with their middle order against Afghanistan. Manish Pandey who has been sitting on the bench in the tournament till now might make a place in the playing XI in the place of Dinesh Karthik.
In the bowling department, Khaleel Ahmed has strong chances to get into the playing in place of any regular fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar or Jasprit Bumrah. As the tight schedule of Asia Cup is tough for the bowlers to give enough rest to their body.
However, Afghanistan have impressed everyone with their growth and they gave tough fight to well-established teams like Bangladesh and Pakistan. They even beat Sri Lanka in the group stage. The way Afghanistan are playing they might stick to the same playing XI against India on Tuesday. (Read to know about: When and Where to watch India vs Afghanistan Super Four clash)
