Sachin Tendulkar recently posted a video where the Master Blaster was seen bowling to his friend and former India cricketer Vinod Kambli at the Tendulkar-Middlesex Global Academy camp in Navi Mumbai which got nostalgic seeing the two together.
Tendulkar wrote that it took him back to his childhood days, however, the video shows the Master Blaster stepping over the line while bowling and the official Twitter handle of the ICC (International Cricket Council) did not hesitate to point out the mistake with a bit of satire.
Here's what Tendulkar posted, "Felt great to be back in the nets with @vinodkambli349 during the @tendulkarmga lunch break! It sure took us back to our childhood days at Shivaji Park...Very few people know that Vinod & I have always been in the same team and never played against each other. #TMGA"
Here's what the ICC had to say. 'Watch your front foot, @sachin_rt'
The ICC posted a picture of Tendulkar overstepping and Umpire Steve Bucknor. The Master Blaster was a victim of a number of controversial umpiring calls when Bucknor was present.
Responding to the jibe landed by ICC, Tendulkar had a cheeky reply. At least this time I am bowling and not batting .. umpire’s decision is always the final decision'.
Tendulkar was a mentor for IPL franchise Mumbai Indians, which recently won a record 4th title in the IPL, defeating Chennai Super Kings by a thrilling 1-run in Hyderabad on May 12.
