Last time in 2015, Australia won the World Cup trophy for the record fifth time under Michael Clarke leadership and this year they will do anything in their capacity to defend the coveted title.
While, according to many cricket critics India and England are the top favourites to win the World Cup this year as the Men in Blue have a very balanced side with key players in every department, on the other hand, in-form hosts will get the home advantage.
Apart from these three teams, South Africa and New Zealand are always a side to look for in big ICC tournaments.
This year the World Cup will have round-robin format in which all 10 teams will face each other throughout the course of the tournament. India will start their World Cup journey on June 6 against South Africa at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.
