The war of words between former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag and British journalist Piers Morgan is not likely to end soon.
While Morgan never misses a chance to take a jibe at Sehwag who is known for his befitting replies, he once again got trolled on Twitter while trying to correct Sehwag’s grammar on his tweet.
It all started when Sehwag, on Tuesday, took to the micro-blogging website to congratulate India on their win over England in the Kabaddi World Cup. India defeated England 69-18 on October 18.
While Sehwag congratulated India, he did not miss the opportunity to take a potshot at England’s for their below average performance.
“England loose (sic) in a World Cup again. Only the sport changes. This time it’s Kabaddi. India thrash them 69-18.All the best for semis #INDvENG,” he tweeted.
Morgan immediately jumped in to correct Sehwag’s spelling mistake in the tweet.
It’s ‘lose’, Morgan replied to the tweet.
After Morgan’s reply on Sehwag’s tweet, Twitter was flooded with hilarious replies to his comment. Here are a few.
This is not the first time Morgan has needled Sehwag to indulge in a controversial conversation. After the conclusion of the Rio Olympics, Morgan had bet 1 million dollars to charity on England winning an ODI World Cup before India wins another Olympic Gold medal.
“Hi @virendersehwag, I bet you 1 million rupees to charity that England wins a ODI World Cup before India wins another Olympic Gold.
Accept?” he had tweeted.
While Sehwag chose not to respond, his parody account won the internet with this ultimate reply: India Already Has 9 #Gold Medals, England Has Zero WC. As Far As Charity Is Concerned, You Already Owe Us Kohinoor. #ENGvPAK.
Even this time, Sehwag did not respond to Morgan’s tweet, but his fans immediately took it upon themselves to give it back to the British journalist.
