The official website of Indian Premier League (IPL) has taken the statistics of explosive batsman and RCB skipper Virat Kohli with a twist by terming him left-handed, whereas Kohli bats right-handed.
However, when the goof-up caught attention of media, the officials immediately made the required changes.
The Indian skipper today returned to the ground after missing 3 matches of the ongoing tenth season of the cash-rich tournament. Kohli made 62 off 47 against Mumbai Indians at the M Chinnaswamy stadium today.
His outstanding performance in today’s match also helped him to surpass Suresh Raina’s record of hitting maximum runs in the game. Kohli now has 4172 runs in his kitty.
A shoulder injury sustained during the Australia Test series ruled Kohli out of the first three games. In his absence, Shane Watson led the side.
