The list of Virat Kohli's well-wishers is increasing by the time. After Harry Kane posted a picture with him, lauding him on being a 'brilliant sportsman', Germany's star footballer Thomas Muller has also joined the list.
Muller took to Twitter to send the good luck message to the Indian captain, as well as all the teams participating in World Cup 2019.
The German footballer wrote, "I wish all participants of the Cricket #WorldCup2019 good luck & thrilling matches. Especially I cross my fingers for @imVkohli, the captain of the Indian team. He`s a fan of @DFB_Team and supported it multiple times in the past #Cricket #GermanyCheersForIndia #esmuellert."
Virat Kohli is a fan of German national football team, and wished them prior to their Euro campaign in 2016. The Indian captain donned Germany's shirt ahead of the team's campaign in the continental tournament, expressing his support for the side. "Excited for #Euro16. I'm all in with Die Mannschaft for the Euros! Which team are you supporting? #FirstNeverFollows," Kohli wrote.
Muller's tweet came two days ahead of India's first World Cup game against South Africa. The tournament is currently underway, with five games already played.
