Team India opener Shikhar Dhawan has always been known as a 'family man' and in many instances, the explosive batsman has sorted his priorities when it comes to his personal life and professional. Whenever Dhawan has spare time on his hands, he makes it a point to visit his kin in Australia. Team India's 'Gabbar', who played an instrumental role in helping the Men in Blue lift the 2018 Nidahas Trophy, surprised his children and wife.
Dhawan took to Twitter to share a video showing him making a surprise visit to his son Zoravar's school and the reaction of the young lad seeing his father is just priceless. Dhawan wrote an emotional caption where he shared the video stating,"Flew almost 15 hours to surprise my lovely children! Their reaction was completely worth it! Cannot wait to spend the coming week with my family". Take a look.
The opener's wife Aesha had also posted a picture of her son on the way to prep school for the first time.
Dhawan spent the day out with his family as he his seen in a children's park with Zoravar.
The opener will be back in India soon as he will be playing in the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League for the Sunrisers Hyderabad which will begin on April 7. The Hyderabad franchise acquired his services for Rs.5.2 crore in the auctions.
The opener is also in line to become the new skipper of Sunrisers Hyderabad after David Warner stepped down as captain after being involved in a ball-tampering row which includes Steve Smith and Cameron Bancroft as well. The Australian opener has been barred from playing in the 11th edition of the IPL which sees an opening for the position of captain.
