New Delhi: India’s limited-over captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is famous as Captain Cool for obvious reasons. His down-to-earth attitude and cool and composed nature, both on and off the field, have made him one of the most respected cricket icons in the world.
Dhoni, who is on a long break till the ODI series against New Zealand in October, has always been in talks for his innovative hairdos and is never shy of experimenting something new, whether it was his long hair during the 2007 T20 World Cup or when he went bald after winning the 2011 World Cup.
The 34-year-old cricketer from Ranchi has now come up with a new hairdo. Dhoni, on Saturday, posted a picture of himself getting a haircut, presumably at his home.
The picture, however, left most of his fans surprised. And it wasn’t for his hair style this time around.
Dhoni, who has a personal hairstylist in the form of celebrity Sapna Bhavnani, can be seen getting a haircut like a ‘common man’ instead of an upscale hair salon.
Impressed with Mahi’s simplicity, one fan compared him with film superstar Rajnikant and termed him as ‘Thalaivar’.
Here are some reactions to the picture going viral on social media.
