One half of the pair known as ' best at death bowling', Bhuvneshwar Kumar is all set to tie the knot with finance Nupur Nagar in a private ceremony in Meerut on November 23. The right arm medium fast bowler is set to get hitched this month during the ongoing Sri Lanka tour.
Speaking to Indiatimes, Bhuvneshwar's father Kiran Pal Singh stated that the family was looking for a 10-day window for the marriage and hoped to have the wedding in Meerut itself. The father of the groom said that they will host a reception on November 30th for Bhuvneshwars's teammates and members of the Board.
"The wedding will take place in Meerut and it will be attended by family and close friends. But we want Bhuvneshwar's teammates and members of the Board to also take part in celebrations, which is why we will have a reception in Delhi for them. We are sure everybody will attend it because the entire team will be in Delhi from November 30 for the Sri Lanka series." Kiran Pal Singh told Indiatimes.
Bhuvi will host a reception in a hotel in Delhi which is to be likely attended by his teammates, which will include Indian skipper Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin and Suresh Raina. Officials from UP Cricket Association and the BCCI are also expected to attend the reception.
Sri Lanka start their tour of India from November 16 where they are slated to play a three-match Test series. With the second Test to begin from November 24 and ending on November 28, Bhuvi is most likely to miss the match against the Lankans. However, there has been no official statement made by Bhuvneshwar or the BCCI regarding if he will be missing from the squad from the second Test.
Former Indian pacer Zaheer Khan is also all set to get hitched this month as he weds 'Chak de India' actress Sagarika Ghatge on November 27 in Mumbai according to Mumbai Mirror reports.
