New Delhi: MS Dhoni is undoubtedly one of the best captains in the history of Indian cricket. On the occasion of his 35th birthday today, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) rewinds the clock and lists his major achievements through a video tribute.
Being the only captain to have all the deserving trophies from ICC World Twenty20 (2007), the ICC Cricket World Cup (2011), and Champions Trophy (2013), he is the most successful skipper.
It started form 2007 when MS Dhoni was selected as a captain of Team India to lead in T20 World Cup. It was under his brilliant captaincy that India won the inaugural T20 World Cup of 2007.
While in 2013, under Dhoni's command India turn out to be the first team in more than 40 years to whitewash Australia in a test series.
Captain cool who has 98 wins as an unbeaten skipper of India in ODI format announced his retirement from Tests in December 2014. He was also awarded with Rajeev Gandhi Khel Ratna and Padma Shree.
