Liton Das scores his maiden ODI century

Bangladesh opener Liton Das has scored his maiden century against India in the finals of the 2018 Asia Cup in Dubai. After being asked to bat first in the summit clash, Das opened the Bangla Tiger's innings on a confident start. The opener went on to score his maiden ton off 87 balls and in what style in the finals. (IND vs BAN LIVE SCORES & UPDATES)

His innings consisted of  11 fours and 2 sixes, giving the bowlers a tough time out there. His batting not only put the pressure on the bowlers, but also hammered away in the first ten overs of the match. (LIVE SCORECARD)

Das also put up a century stand with Mehidy Hasan

Earlier, India won the toss and opted field against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup final on Friday.

India picked a full strength team for the title clash, bringing back Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Shikhar Dhawan and captain Rohit Sharma, who all were rested for the game against Afghanistan.

Nazmul Islam was picked in place of Mominul Haque in the Bangladesh playing eleven.

Bangladesh: Liton Das, Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Mithun, Mushfiqur Rahim, Imrul Kayes, Mahmudullah, Mehidy Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza(captain), Nazmul Islam, Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman.
