After many accolades, now a beer is named after Sourav Ganguly in Australia

Sourav Ganguly, who is right now enjoying his time as the advisor of Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League 2019 has something new to cheer about.

Recently in a revelation on Twitter post Former Indian skipper has a drink after his name in a bar. Although the name of the place is not disclosed yet.

In the bar menu of an Australian restaurant, there is drink named 'Feral Ganguly Mango lasi  IPA' under 'Smooth Hoperators' which is surely a tribute to Sourav Ganguly.

A user on Twitter posted a photo of the bar menu and tag the former Indian skipper.

"I always thought they didn’t like @SGanguly99 much here in Australia. But they instead have paid him the highest Aussie honour possible by naming a beer after him & even marking it as a smooth “hopetator” Must have been all those hugs to Pontin" the caption reads," wrote on the user on his Twitter account.

Ganguly, who is originated from West Bengal is often known as DADA among Indian fans and cricket fraternity.

He is arguably the best captain India had with a most overseas win in Test cricket (11). Ganguly's exceptional stats in overseas soil gave him a wide fanbase around the world.

In the decorated career, Dada has scored 11,363 runs in 311 One Day Internationals, he also led the Indian team to final of World Cup 2003, where Indian lost to Australia.

Under Ganguly's advisory, Delhi Capitals have won five matches out of nine. He has also been accompanied by his old nemesis Ricky Ponting in Delhi's camp. The former Australian skipper is currently the head coach of Delhi franchise.
