Former India batsman and cricket commentator Aakash Chopra had to pay nearly seven lakh for a vegetarian meal at a restaurant in Kuta, Indonesia. However, an Indonesian rupiah costs 0.0048 Indian rupee that means Chopra exactly paid 3,331.30 rupees in Indian currency.
The 40-year-old took the twitter by storm after he shared the bill of the meal, saying: "Paid nearly 7 Lac for a meal. Welcome to Indonesia."
However, the netizens were quick to calculate the exact figure in INR and replied with hilarious comments on his post.
"Translates to approx. 3500 in Indian rupees," a user said.
The bill showed that Chopra ordered only vegetarian food and he explained the reason later in a reply to a tweet.
But the Twitterati was in no mood to stop here.
