Starting with Virat Kohli 23rd Test century, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara and Hardik Pandya's fifties, the batting line-up finally put the pedal to the metal and powered through the English attacking unit at Trent Bridge, an area which was one of Stuart Broad and James Anderson's hunting grounds. Coming to the bowling unit, the bowlers collected all 20 wickets, with the help of Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah's five-wicket hauls. Shami, Ishant and Ashwin had also contributed with their spells.
A win at Nottingham gives India a chance to remain alive in the five-match Test series as they still trail 1-2.

After the match, the Team India players took to social media to react on their win at Nottingham, which comes for India after 11 years.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who was adjudged as the 'Man of the Match' for scoring his 23rd Test century, praised the team's efforts. His caption reads,'Top performance by the boys! Amazing game and a great win.'

Bumrah, who played his fourth Test match, picked up his second five-wicket haul. His caption reads,'Team work makes the dream work. Brilliant team effort to clinch the win and a fifer to cherish forever.'
India's Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara also took to Twitter to celebrate India's win at Trent Bridge.
